What is Neopets Premium?: 

Neopets Premium is a paid service available on neopets to enhance your game play. It offers a wide variety of extras not normally seen on neopets without the use of a paid service fee.

How do I sign up?:

Currently there are two ways to sign up.


1. Visit this link: http://premium.neopets.com

2. Be referred by a Premium Member. There are tons of premium members out there, you just need to look for one. You could try the neoboards, here on Darkztar, or contact a neofriend that you know already has premium service.

How much does it cost to sign up?

 

Prices for premium depends on how long you actually want the service. If you are a new member and signed up for the first time, then you get a free 15 day trial where you pay nothing at all during the time period. However if you do not cancel the service before the trial ends, then you will be automatically billed. Also there are three ways of method of payment; Credit Card, Electronic Funds Transfer and Paypal.

The current prices depend on if you sign up with Web Pack:

Web Pack: $7.99 per month or $69.95 per year

After Initial Sign-up:

Congrats, you have signed up for Neopets Premium. 😀
You should recieve a neomail afterwords telling you that you have successfully signed up. You should keep in mind the date that you signed up, so you know when your trail ends and the first billing begins.

 

Neopoint Reward:
Through your neopets e-mail you will receive your first money reward after you have
signed up.

Monthly Web Pack:
1,000 neopoints for starting the 15 day trial
1,000 neopoints for every month of continued service (up to 12 months)

Yearly Web Pack:
2,500 neopoints for starting the 15 day trial
7,500 neopoints for keeping premium after the trial

Features

Neomail Avatar 
You receive the Neomail Addict avatar as soon as you subscribe for the premium trial period. You will be able to keep this avatar even if you cancel premium during the trial period. This is not the only way to receive this avatar however. You can also receive it as a random event while neomailing.

No advertisements 
As a premium member you can browse the site without seeing any advertisements, this will allow you to load pages much quicker, and you will not be subject to any inappropriate ads that may appear.

Premium Neoboards 
When you are a neopets premium member you will have access to three extra neoboards (Help and Newbies, Main Hall and Spotlights and Games). After you have been a premium member for three months you will gain access to a fourth neoboard (Charter Members).

Premium Collectable Cards
These cards are different from the regular collectable cards; they can not be sold or traded. Each month a new card is released. What these cards are for, is to show each month that you have been a member of the premium services.


Space Faerie Scratchcard 
Every friday you will receive an e-mail from neopets saying:
” Your weekly Space Faerie Scratch Card is now available!!! Click here to retrieve it!”
You’ll then be taken to a special premium only scratchcard which you can scratch by holding your mouse down and moving it back and forth over the desired square. After you’ve scratched enough spots to have 3 the same ones you will have won a prize.

New Features- As of May 2012, Neopets Premium has undergone some major changes. The service has now been switched over to the Neopets Team. Here are the new features offered:

Features No Longer Available: Like all good things, the premium service had to cut back on some features since switching over to a new system. These following features will no longer be available.

Webmail
Portal
Real-world Feeds
Internet Dial-up Services
Aliases and Subaccounts

How to Cancel Premium: 
If you feel that you no longer want the premium service, you may cancel at any time.

United States residents
Make a phone call to their toll free number, this is (877) NEOPIAN or (877) 636 7426.

Other users
Option 1: Call the international phone number: (1) 310.846.4873
Option 2: Contact Live Support help 
Option 3: Send an email to techsupport@neomail.com. This option is not recommended, as cancelling your subscription will take much longer due to long response.

Have the following information ready when canceling premium:
-Username of your account
-E-mail Address
-Phone Number
-Credit Card Number or Paypal Agreement Number

What to do when you’re frozen?:
When your account gets frozen you will not get a refund and your premium service is not automatically cancelled. If you want to stop paying for the premium on your frozen account, you must cancel premium yourself.
