Guide to Freaky Factory!

Freaky Factory the game can be found here

The avatar is this;

And the trophies look like this;

To get the Freaky Factory avatar you need a score of 1250 or up.
OMG hoooowww I hear you ask. Well, like this.

Firstly, our opening screen.

1. The clock. You don’t need to watch this too closely, because there’s not a lot you can do about it if you’re running out of time.
You occasionally get time bonuses, but we’ll cover that later.
Each round the time goes by quicker, AND you need to make more pets too.

2. The vats. At the start of each round these will be empty.
You need to drop the paint blobs into it’s corresponding vat in order to make the plushies.
Different plushies require different colours (obviously).
One plushie takes 2 notches on the vat.
If the plushie that pops up at 5 is purple, orange or green, you need 2 notches in red & blue, red & yellow or yellow & blue respectively.
Rainbow coloured plushies need 2 notches in all 3 vats.
You aren’t always required to make only 1 of a plushie at a time.

3. Your waste guage. If you miss a vat when dropping a paint ball, drop the wrong paint ball into the wrong vat, or overfill a vat your waste guage will fill up according to the size of the paint ball.
When it reaches the top, game over. You can reduce this with soap. More on this in a moment.

4. This is where your plushies get churned out. Simple really.
Notice the little lights? That’s how many plushies you have left in the queue to come out. Good for bonuses at the end of rounds.

5. Here a yellow plushie needs to be made. See the 2 notches next to it?
That means you only need to make 1 plushie. 2 notches on the vat will release that plushie.
The more notches next to the picture, the more plushies you’ll make when you’ve accrued enough paint.
A full meter needs an almost full vat, and will make 3 plushies!

6. The bonus meter. The more consecutive plushies you make, the more this will go up.
Consecutive plushies are ones without a large gap between them. Queued plushies will come out consecutively.
If you leave a gap, the bonus meter will drop, and once it runs out, the bonus you had built up will be added to your score.
At the end of each round, any remaining bonus gets added to your score.

7. Plushies remaining to be made.

Bonuses and Other Stuff!

That little dude at the bottom, he wants your plushies.
He’ll steal them at any opportunity ruining your hard work, and messing up your consecutive plushie run.
You can get rid of him by clicking on him when you see him, or if you feel co-ordinated, drop a bit of paint on his head.
That’ll learn him…. but not for long.

The paint balls work like such; The red ones will always come from the right, the blue ones always come from the left, and yellows come from both sides.
If you see a red come from the left, or a blue from the right, don’t drop it!
It’s a nasty bit of paint >.<

This shows one of the paint balls you do not wanna drop into your vat.
It’ll turn into a nasty little critter when you click on it, and it’ll empty your vat AND fill up your waste meter. Grr!

This is what happens when you don’t pay attention =( The Grundo snaffled my little Poogle toy.

This is the time bonus, click it if you get the chance, it’ll give you 5 more seconds.

Soap!!! Click this, it’ll reduce your waste meter.

The little green glowing blob will upgrade the plushies on the converyor belt.
It only upgrades those ones though, ones in the queue won’t be upgraded.
It changes primary colours to tertiary colours, and tertiary colours to rainbows. Very useful when used in conjunction with….

The ice blob. This slows the conveyor for a short time, which bunches your plushies together.
Handy if you have the glowing blob come along just after, making a bigger group of plushies upgrade.
Also can be handy if the Grundo is at the far left, you can slwo the toys down for a few seconds, allowing you time to smack him out of the way.

The purple winged blob speeds the conveyor up.
This is a godsend when you’re running out of time and wanna whiz the toys along and end the round. Click it if you get the chance!

Ooooh, angel blob. This has two uses.
Firstly, if you drop it into any vat, it’ll fill it to the brim. Yay!
Or, if you don’t need to fill the vats any, you can try and aim it at one of your toys.
It’ll turn it into and angel like such;

Worth lots of points =)
Just don’t miss….

There is one more that comes through which I was unable to get a screenie of because it doesn’t happen very often.
It’s an atom shaped blob and it’ll fill ALL the vats right up. You don’t need to aim it or anything, just click it. This only tends to come along in later rounds, when you really really need it.

Method

This game, like most others is based largely on luck. It depends on what paint comes by, what bonuses etc.
For the earlier rounds, try as much as possible to have a stream of plushies.

When the game starts, check what colour plushie you have to make first, and try to fill up the 2 other colours first.
This helps when making a stream. Get rid of the Grundo at every opportunity you get, he can really mess your game up.
The quicker you finish a round, the better, as you get time bonuses.

Don’t focus too much on getting the slow down or speed up bonuses.
They’re good, but they don’t earn you any points, and if you miss paint blobs you need because you’re chasing them, it’s a big waste.

Try to avoid waste as much as possible in the earlier rounds.
Later on, you’ll be dropping bits and overfilling all over the place because it speeds up so much. Click on the soap at any chance you see it.

Playing on a slower computer helps. It gives you an advantage of slowing everything down, making the whole game easier.
