Plushie Tycoon 10 Step Guide

When you start Plushie Tycoon you have 50,000nps in hand. You need at least 50,001 nps by the end to get the avatar. In order to do that, you only need to play for one week before the month ends. You might need less than that but just to be sure, a week is the safe choice.
Why not more? Because every 7 days you’re asked to pay rent for your facilities, which will be drawn from your profits and your goal is to keep as many nps as possible! (that’s PT currency by the way, not your own nps so no worries about that)

The game runs 8 hours a day and updates once every hour at :01. The first update is at 10:01am and the last at 5:01pm. You get to set when it’s 10am in your location.
(According to the neoboards there is a glitch and the updates no longer occur at :01. It will happen at some point within the hour. A player can either refresh at different intervals to see if the update took place, or seek for advice in the Plushie Tycoon help board in the neoboards’ games section. The material prices update separately from the factory and sales.
The official board announcement:
** ATTENTION **
There is a problem with Neo-clocks that has affected PT as well. As of now, updates are happening around :56-57 past the hour and slowly moving back everyday by roughly a minute.
The raw material price change happens separately and also moves back every day, BUT it is at a different time.)

Follow the steps and buy exactly what you’re advised to, no more, no less. If you make a mistake, give up and restart your game.

STEP 1

Create store.

STEP 2

Set the game timezone. This is important, since you want to choose a timezone in which you will be active for 8 hours. Forget your regular time zone; choose your time zone based on the table below. Use the hours you’re most active in NST times and choose the corresponding GMT. To see the “set timezone” link, simply refresh your Main Page.

STEP 3

Buy materials. Choose plushies that use 3 or more rolls of cloth and accessories (according to the table below) and make a variety instead of just one type. This time, choose plushies from the 3 and 4 roll categories only.
How to decide how many materials you’ll buy:
Use the current prices and get a sum of 4 green cloth, 1 neocotton, 1 rare gem and 1 paper bag.
If the cost is higher than 3900 – don’t buy anything, wait for the next update(s) for better prices.
If the cost is less than 3900 – start with 6 jobs
If the cost is less than 2900 – start with 8 jobs
If the cost is less than 1800 – start with 10 jobs
A job means a type of plushie, so after this price check, go to Purchase Materials and buy as many as you will need for the plushies you decided to make.

STEP 4

Open your business. Visit Your StoreYour Factory and Your Warehouse and pay the rent.

STEP 5

Start your jobs. Go to Your Factory – Start New Job and select each one of the species you decided you’ll create.
Select quantity: 100 and start the job. This step and the next must both be done within the same update, in order to see results. Also, to put 6 jobs or more you will be asked to expand your factory. Expand and proceed.

STEP 6

Hire personnel. Go to Your Factory – Personnel – Hire workers. Hire 250 trainees and 24 managers (you already have 1). You will only keep them for one update so once you hire them (for example at 1:35pm), you will fire them after the next update (2:02pm), after you check your factory and make sure that some of the jobs have been finished. Fire all of the workers! You can’t fire that 1 manager you had from the beginning.

STEP 7

The warehouse. Some of your jobs have been complete and are now loading in Your Warehouse. This takes hours, but the warehouse works past the 8 hour shift and may update any time. Once the plushies are done loading, there will be a checkbox next to them. Tick and ship them to your store. 100 plushies cost 278 nps to ship.

STEP 8

The store. 5 minutes after you ship your plushies, they will appear in Your Store. In order to boost your sales, go to Your Store – Upgrades and upgrade Carpet, Lighting and Store Security 3 levels (up to Standard Carpet, Gas Lantern and Anti-theft Tags). Then, go to Advertisements and upgrade Flyers, Gifts, Candy and Clothing 3 levels (up to Stickers, Dry-Erase boards, Jelly Beans and T-shirts).

STEP 9

Sales. Wait until your plushies are sold. All 100 plushies must be sold in order to receive your profits; in the meantime, the prices fluctuate and may alter. To see how many plushies you’ve sold, check the Sales after an update.

STEP 10

Profit! Check your Sales again to see what you earned. Remember, you need at least 50,001nps at the end of the month to earn that avatar.

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that even if you fire all of your workers, you still have a manager who cannot be fired and will get paid with every update! For this reason, keep at least 1000 nps on hand daily. In order to be sure you’ll get the avatar, make some extra money before the month ends.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Repeat those steps to make more plushies and earn more nps. You can set up an alarm clock to remind you of each update. If your profits are high, you can try to level up more of your shop’s upgrades and advertisements to boost your sales. If the materials’ prices drop really low, stock up! Or try to use a better packaging. Also, expand your warehouse to lower the waiting time. On the last few days make sure you’ll only buy things you need, produce as many plushies as possible and let them get sold. On the very last day it’s pointless to make new plushies as there’s no way they will have the time to get sold. For any questions, try Plushie Tycoon’s board on the games section (or neomail me).
Good luck!
