Guide to Wrath of the Snowager!

Wrath of the Snowager

IdeaA “cheeky” Chia has stolen the Snowager’s possessions from his cave. It’s your sworn duty to hunt this Chia down and retrieve as much of the goods as you can. And what’s more enjoyable than pummeling a thief to the icy floor and repeatedly launching freezing breaths of ice at him?
Instructions
: Use the left and right arrow key to control the Snowager. Don’t run into anything! This includes your tail! Use the Space bar to unleash your chilling breath on the Chia (Launches a very small distance.)

Trophies and NP Ratio

NP Ratio: 1 point: .01 NP
1000NP= 100000 Score

Score: Score you currently have in the game.
Number of Loot: A tug-of-war look at the number of loot you have and the chia has (Your goal is to get all the Chia’s loot in a level.)
Ice Blasts: The number of ice blasts you have. These are used to shoot at and freeze the chia.
Note: When the Chia is frozen AND attacked, he drops 5 loot rather than 3 loot.
Lives
The amount of lives you have to play the game.
Note1 is your LAST life!
Snowager: This is YOU!
Note: When you eat loot, your tail grows longer.
Thieving Chia: Take a chomp on him and get your loot back!
Loot: These are what you are aiming to collect.
Power Up: These can effect you positively and negatively! The green ones are good, the red are bad.
Quit, Music &Sound: You are allowed to quit at any time. The music (which I personally think is annoying) can be stopped and the sounds as well.
Power Ups!
There are a total of 9 different power ups. Two are bad and seven good.

NotesPower ups are thrown by the Thieving Chia.
The speed boost can be a hazard.
Slow Down will be a bonus if you need to be careful.Purple Chia
The Chia will suddenly turn purple and all loots and power ups will come rushing towards the him. This is his way of grabbing the loot back that you trampled him for. If however, the items are on the other side of the map, they will not be dragged towards the Chia. Only items within the Chia’s screen will be dragged AND if you happen to be inbetween the item and Chia when this happens, great interception!!!

Levels
There are a certain amount of loots needed to continue onto the next level for the three difficulties.

Things to Know Before Starting
You are not timed in this game and can’t die from taking extremely long to beat a level, HOWEVER you do get a bonus for time completion and this decreases very, very slowly.

Level 12 is the end. However there is a trick ;]

The level of difficulty is very significant. On easy mode the Chia runs slower, items dropped by the Chia remain on the ground and less loot is required to move on to the next level. On medium mode the pace of the game is slightly quicker, items dropped by the Chia begin to disappear in 20 seconds if not picked up and more loot is required to move on as you progress. On Hard mode the pace is even quicker. Items dropped will still disappear in 20 seconds but a lot more loot is required than that of easy and medium.

Your tail is not used in this game at all. It does NOT collect items, hurt the Chia, or cause you to lose a life. Only your head can attack, collect items and take damage. It is only something you should avoid hitting.

Green power ups WILL disappear and red power ups will not.

If you grab the last item and hit the wall, it does not count as losing a life.

If an item is blinking to disappear and the Chia turns purple, the items life-span will last through the Chia’s ability.

A Drop Loot power up will slow you down for about 3 seconds.

Navigation
Get the feel of controlling the Snowager. It takes getting use to and Meerca Chase 2 in freestyle mode could help also. You can only turn left and right and never at 90 degree angles. Get the feel of how quickly the Snowager turns and how much space it takes too take a 180 degree turn. This helps you with turning in tough obstacles, turning to attack the Chia, and turning to avoid or grab items.

Tips, Tricks and Trophy :]
~If you are going for a trophy, there are ways to prepare though skill is of course needed.
~You are going to need to play on Hard Mode to obtain a trophy as the point value is better and Hard really isn’t all that hard.
~For a quick 1000 NP, gather up 100,000 points. This is easily achievable on just the first level!

1. On level 1 at the beginning, the Chia will drop a -4 power up. Let that power up stay and roam around waiting for a Green EXTRA LIFE to come out.
Reason: A Green power up is more likely to be thrown from the Chia when a red power up is already out. It’s a 1% chance of having a green power up thrown when there is no other power up out. Level one is also wide open and pretty easy to avoid running into obstacles.

2. Grab the life and continue this process leaving a red power up out and grabbing hearts. Stock up on lives, preferably around 10
Reason: You’ll need them for step 3.

3. Once you’ve acquired a fair amount of lives, grab 18-19 of the loot making sure that 3 of those loot are the 3 snowballs on the level.
Reason: Snowballs are worth the most and you’ll need to repeat this level over and over.

4. Once you have most of the loot, kill yourself. Your existing score from the 18-19 loot (Which should be about 100k) will be with you and you’ll end up restarting level 1 to get another 100k.
Reason: This is like farming points in Hannah and the (Random) Caves, just keep repeating the process.

5. Repeat this process until you have your desired amount. You can also move on to the next level if you choose to, if you have a good amount of lives and are less that 500k points from your goal.
Reason: TROPHY!
